Sexie sincerely wants to help the unfortunate people in Singapore. Most of us are well-to-do and at many a times we tend to forget that there are still some unfortunate ones who desperately needs a helping hand. Hence, Sexie have decided to make a donation to Children's Cancer Foundation every month from our sales profit. Sexie will also share with you on how much we have donated through your online shopping with us by the 1st week of the following month.

SOME INFORMATION THAT WE WILL LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU:
- The Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) is an independent non-profit organisation that is 100% funded by public and corporate donations. They need to raise $3 million a year in order to support the necessary charitable activities for children with cancer.
- Cancer is an uncontrolled & abnormal cell growth that can spread to other parts of the body, wreaking havoc & distrupting normal bodily functions. Childhood cancers grow more rapidly than adult cancers because the cancer tissues grow together with the fast-growing tissues of the child.
- The most common type of childhood cancer are leukaemia, brain tumour & lymphoma.
- The survival rate for children with Acute Lymphoblastic Laukemia (ALL) - the most common form of cancer in Singapore - is very good, comparable with developed countries like the USA. In Singapore, survival rates for ALL patients are typically between 70% - 90%. However, brain tumour and advanced stage neuroblastoma have the lowest overall survival.
- 50% of children diagnosed with cancers are below 5 years old.
- CCF will provide critical services to help the children and their families to cope with the needs at different stages of the illness.

Thank you for your patronage! All my customers have made it possible for us to do a small part for a charity that is close to my heart - Children's Cancer Foundation. In September 2010, Sexie was able to give an outright donation of $38.00 through the online sales of my product range.
